How to stop contractions.

What is the best way to help stop contraction. I know that most people ask how to start them but i was wondering how to stop them.

  • Well its not exactly easy. The body will do what it feels it needs to do. the docs have meds to help but sometimes that doesn't always work. Keep your feet up and pretty much bed rest

  • Lay on your left side, drink some water to make sure you're not dehydrated, and relax. Watch a movie or something to distract you. If that doesn't work, chances are you're out of luck. Your body may have a reason for doing what it's doing...

  • a glass of cold water and lay down on your left side. but if your in labor there is no stopping them without medical intervention.

  • A warm (not hot) bath may help subdue them. Or bed rest. There's not too much you can do to stop contractions. If you're not far enough along, see your dr and they will intervene.
