Stuffed peppers in the crockpot

I was just going to put the peppers in the crockpot and then pour in a jar of spaghetti sauce. Will this work or do I need to cover the tops of the peppers with sauce?

  • No you dont have to but if you putting the peppers in first, just dump it over top! Also ive never heard of using spaghetti sauce, is it good? We use v-8 over ours.

  • Never made it before, but the recipe says to use tomato sauce so I thought I'd just use a jar of my favorite spaghetti sauce.
