Bald spot

Our DD who's 2 1/2 months always sleeps on her back, but she's getting this awful bald spot on the back of her head like most babies do. Any suggestions on how to help this besides changing her sleep position? Thank you!

  • Just let it go ... by the time she's 9-12 months it will be gone!

  • A baby won't get that from sleep positions alone, she spends a lot of time in bouncy seats/carriers/swings, right?

Get a wrap/sling and wear her, it will reverse the issue.

  • It's normal. My son had a patch of black hair in the back. We called him patchy. I don't keep up with the guidelines. Can you put her to sleep on her side?
