  • It differs from baby to baby I would ask your Ped because it depends !

  • I hope by "Milk" you mean breast or formula.
    It depends on the child. My son (one month old now) is drinking a good 5-6 oz's at every feeding. Whereas my oldest son was only on 4 oz's and my daughter only drank 4-5 oz's at every feeding at that age.

  • I agree with the other momma's, its different for every baby. But for an extreme example IMO I think 1 oz is not enough, but 10 oz is too much and he would probably spit up a good amount of that. I've always been told BF babies will each more and more often b/c the milk can be digested easier/faster than formula. My DD eats 5oz of pumped milk every three hours, and I don't know how much she gets when she nurses, I just feed her until she stops eating.

  • Mine NEVER took more than three ounces, all through his first year. Bigger bottles were wasted.
