  • Depends on the guy I suppose. Not ALL men are Dic%s but all men have the potential to be a Dic# at one time or another.

  • I dont think they have much of a choice but to act differently. We have kids & no time for BS.

  • I never had a guy act that different when I was a single mom. I mean, they were understanding that I couldn't go out as often or at certain times but I don't think they were that different with me. I think after they have dated a while, being included as part of the "family" can be a stabilizing influence on some men.

  • Yes I think they do, and I'd hope so! I was a single mom for the first 2yrs of my dd's life- and dating as a single parent is very different than from single dating--- w/ everything from time factors, priorities, the sexual relationship, etc. I didn't have time for men who were used to dating single college girls my age, so they were more respectful and honest about intentions knowing that I was a single Mom. On the flip side, many men also assumed I just wanted ass since I was a single mom since I didn't want a "baby daddy". So there's no all or nothing, it depends.
