Rephrasing question: Do you have the hurting/cramping in between the tightening of your uterus?

every 20 min or so i am having tightening, and pain in lower abdomen - then i feel sore

I didn't think braxton hicks hurt in your back and then in your abdomen though
and i feel like i have had to pee for the past 2 hours straight, and only had to 3 times
i guess my question is after the contraction is over could you still be hurting
bc i am in constant  pain between tightening of my stomach now for the past 20 min

  • Sure, your muscles are going to be sore after all that squeezing. After working out, or a long walk, my legs are sore well after I'm done with the actual exercise.

  • They can be, but you could also experience tenderness with BHs.

  • It can happen but it can also happen with BH. The only way to tell if they are labor contractions is to time them. Take an hour and count how many contractions you have and how long they are lasting. If you have more than 4 in an hour then its more than likely real labor and you might want to call your doctor anything less than 4 is still considered BH.
