Pre and Post workout snack ideas.

I am always confused about snack.I usually eat banana before workout and after i drinks milk.I need more choices.Any ideas please and i am vegeterian.

  • a good carb and protein before and a fresh veggie or fruit after (peanut butter crackers then an apple or 1/2 a cheese sandwich then carrot stix) Carb and protein to give you energy and the veggie/fruit to fill you back up.

  • I usually have a banana after a run, and maybe a few nuts. I don't eat less than an hour before a workout, but a small bowl of cereal or oatmeal seems to get me through well.

  • oats are great, trail mix, nuts... you want something with protein after, edamame is a great after work out snack.
