What would you save?

if your house burnt down and everything was gone but you and your family made it out safe and you had the option to have one thing back what would it be?

  • Probably my computer. It has a lot of the kids pictures on it, a lot of our financial records, and I need it for work and school.

  • Our little lock box with birth certificates, passports, stuff like that. 99% of my pictures are on flickr, so I have access to those anywhere.

This is assuming by "family" you also meant the family pets, otherwise I'd go back for those... Actually, I wouldn't leave the house until I got them out, too.
