How soon has your doctor told you that you can find out the gender of your baby?

  • Most doctors tell you the gender at 20 weeks but I've heard that sometimes they can tell you as early as 15 weeks.

  • i was told between 16-20 weeks. it depends on when your ultrasound is scheduled. For me, my next 4 week appointment was due when i was 20 weeks so i had to wait.

  • I was told that prime time to tell the sex was 22-24 weeks. And they still got one of mine wrong.

  • I found out at 14 weeks and 4 days. Most doctors/clinics wait until you are at least 20 weeks to tell, we decided to go to an ultrasound place and find out the sex sooner.

  • I had my 16 week appt. today and thank goodness they aren't making me wait until 20 weeks. I go back in two weeks for the sono. I think it just depends on the Dr's. I found out with my daughter at 16 week appt.
