  • I'm in a book club, going on 15 years, I believe. Here are some of my most memorable, great books: "The Life of Owen Meany" by John Irving, "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver, "The Life of Pi", "Memoirs of a Geisha", "Madame Bovary", "Crazy in Alabama". I'm not good at remembering all of the authors, as you can see. Most of these, not all, are long, thought-provoking novels. They will keep you busy for a while. If you need any more suggestions, click on my profile and drop me a line. I will pull out my lists.

  • depends what you like. My favorite is Dean Koontz, especially his "Odd Thomas" serie (there was 3 all together). Another favorite of mine is Torey Hayden, but I could never find her books at the library, bought most of them on Amazon
