Does anyone have a shop on Etsy?

If so, are you successful at it? Any tips you can offer toconfused someone just getting starting? Thanks!

  • I don't because of the selling fees. I have an artfire account instead. No selling fees. I haven't done anything with it yet since I sell right off my facebook page with no problem.

  • Yeah that's a maketing thing, lol. They don't want you to see the basic "free" version as easily as the upgraded version. If you go to "join now" you can click pro or basic...basic is free :)

  • My facebook fan page hasn't let me down yet. There's a lot of different ways to promote your business there. You can also link your Etsy or Artfire to your page somehow, but like I said, I didn't find a real need for it yet. www.facebook.com/fortheloveofscarves

  • I dont sell on there, but I buy. Most of the people I buy from sold on eBay at one time or another and slipped in a business card in the package that they sent me that said something like "Like my items? See more on etsy". So I would go check out their etsy items :).
