Does your labadore bark at people?

Mine does and don't understand why she does it.

  • Labradors are vocal dogs 90% of the time. She might be alerting you, warning them, or introducing herself. Depends on her body language. If you don't like it, teach her to stop. Just understand that labs typically don't mentally/emotionally mature until about 4-5 years.

  • depends.. either she wants attention, don't know the person or just don't like the person.

    OR she could be trying to talk to them.

  • My MIL had one and she barked at EVERYBODY when they first pulled up, but people she didn't know she barked at even after they stopped the car and tried to get out. lol

  • Mine used to bark on walks because he got excited and wanted to play. But I put a stop to that. Now he only barks to let me know when someone is at the house.
