  • Parent your own way. You'll learn a lot from other people, but ultimately, do things your way, not how other people are telling you to.

  • Never ignore a child's bad behavior. Also, never respond to a child's bad behavior with bad behavior of your own.

  • love your kids but don't let them be in charge. They will be good kids if you are consistent with your love and your discipline and standards of behavior.

  • It's not how much $ you spend on them, its the TIME you spend with them they'll remember. My proof: KMy kds have no clue what they got for Christmas last year, but they remember where we went together as a family.
