  • Honestly the best way I learned is having someone show me but then again I learn from watching and others learn different ways.

  • You can try  for tutorials, and explanations of crochet abbreviations (on patterns). Youtube is also a great place to see first hand how to do a specific stitch.

  • I learned from a book. Years ago, I bought a learn to crochet kit, and next thing I know I'm crocheting just about everything. I learn from doing. I tried to learn from others, but the pictures and words combined worked best.

  • I bought a book, practiced a simple chain and then youtubed more complicated stuff. I am self taught on crochet and do love to do it when my hands aren't killing me
