At what age is a child ready to visit a big water park?

I suggested taking the kids to Sea World, but my husband thinks Schlitterbahn would be more fun. Is this something most 3 1/2 year olds would enjoy, or is 3 1/2 a bit too young for a big water park?

  • I would stick to Sea World. Schlitterbahn would be more fun for EVERYONE once kids are like 6 or so.

  • My DS is 4 and we went to an indoor waterpark hotel last weekend. He kind of liked it but not that much. I think next year he'll have a much better time.
