Why does it always seem that you are in the slowest lane of traffic on the freeway when it is bumper to bumper?

So I put this in money and work because relates to commuting ...

  • Haha..that's true. It seems like that and then when you go into the lane that seems to be moving faster, it slows up and the lane you were just in is all of a sudden faster and you are back to bumper to bumper.
