Going to the hospital

I am a 33 year old female and the left side of my chest is hurting on and off. How do I know if it’s just gas or something more serious? There is a history of heart disease in my dad's side of the family but no reported death or attacks at a young age. I figured I'll ask before I rush to the hospital and cause a commotion and then get ruled out with anxiety. There are lots of people right now having serious heart problems who need help I don’t want to waste the doctor’s time…

  • Ugh, no matter how I paste it, it ends up huge or messy--sorry! This is from WebMD.

  • To me it almost feels like contractions, because the pain is coming and going. Some times they hurt more and some times less; that's why I was wondering if it's just gas or should I be worry...

  • Maybe... I just took my blood pressure and is actually very low 62 over 45 so I know is not a heart attack for sure...

  • Pleas have it checked. Women experience heart attacks differently than men. Might be nothing, but better safe than sorry.
