How would you word this to your manager?

I'm a direct care worker. I work with many different clients. There is one that I do not get along with, mainly because he has complained countless times about my bad breath and body odor to my boss. It doesn't really affect the essential duties of my job but I'm not as friendly or outgoing with him as I am with others.

He has been on my schedule A LOT lately. This is the 6th Friday night in a row that I have been with him. It's getting tiring and old.

Should I (and if so how would you) mention to my manager that I would prefer to be with him as little as possible?

  • Yes, I'd ask for less time with that particular client.
