Is it normal not to get pregnant after 3 months of trying? adult content

I got off the pill 3 months ago and I'm still not pregnant. Is this normal? I got pregnant 5 years ago with no problems at all (wasn't trying and only had sex the 1 time). We have sex like 5 times a week at least, usually more

  • Yes, it can take up to a year to get pregnant after being on birth control. I got pregnant with my first WHILE on birth control. I assumed it would always be that easy. It took 6 months to get pregnant the second time. The doctor told me it could take up to a year.

  • Yes. Couples with no fertility issues can take as long as 18 months. Plus the older you get the harder it is to conceive.

  • Yep. IMO it is way too early to be freaked out just yet. In fact, the stress is highly counterproductive. Just try to enjoy the time with your husband, don't let it turn into a "baby making process", and then just enjoy the added bonus when you do see those two pink lines.
