  • I was told that some women can't help the weight they gain. I had a big baby..and my doctor said i had a lot of amniotic fluid. Yes...i gained 42 lbs...but with in 9 days i lost 24 of that without doing anything and then by the end of the first month i only had 8lbs to lose for myself. So i don't believe there is a "healthy" weight gain. Every person is different, every situation is different and every baby size is different. I had morning sickness all day up till i was 5 months and still gained so ...everyone is different.
    just enjoy being pregnant...may not believe it now...but you will miss it.
    congrats =]]

  • I'm still preggers but at the rate I'm going about 25 lbs. I'm 32 weeks and at 18 lbs so far. Don't stress about the gain just eat healthy stay active if all is cleared by doc. Enjoy this special time

  • I am 22 weeks and have gained 5, but I had mouring/all day sickness so that factored in... the doctor told me a healthy weight to gain is about 25 pounds.

  • Mine is odd because my high risk complication during pregnancy was high amniotic fluid.
    My start : 215 lbs. Day of Delivery : 232lbs. 1 week later : 200 lbs.

    My sister however gained 90 lbs with her first, but all she ate was french fries. :(

  • Lol @ "'ll miss it." Everyone that's not pregnant says they miss & wish they were pregnant. I just look at them in shock. But I believe it. I NEVER had morning sickness though, just a pain in the rear baby dad. He made me sick enough.
