Is your husband handy

With like home repairs and such? If he's not, are you, or do you just hire someone/have a friend or family person help?

  • yeah, i'm pretty lucky- my DH is an electrician and pretty handy in other areas- he laid the tiles in our bathrooms, painted the inside of the house, planted trees, about to paint the outside of the house and about to seed the yard for grass. I keep him pretty busy but if he didnt do it I would.

  • He can fix anything and we rent so he won't fix anything like plumbing when the caretaker can do it himself but he can fix anything or repair anything you name it he can do it and he is often out helping others with their repairs

  • My husband was a master carpenter that built houses before an accident mangled his hand... But he can still build. He bulids most of our furniture (tables, beds, etc) and he just built a fantastic bunk bed for my nephews. He also does most everything else that needs to be done around the house, and for my mom too. The only thing he won't touch is electrical stuff.
