What is the most severe form of autsim?

  • I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. Autism is a spectrum disorder ranging from people who are profoundly autistic to high functioning autistic and Asperger's. Profoundly autistic people are generally non-verbal and have significant outward signs of autism. Then there are people who fall more in the middle of the spectrum. They may have some verbal skills and less outward signs of autism. The difference between high functioning autism and Asperger's is that HFA people have a language delay and people with Asperger's do not.
