  • Both. If you dont vote in the primaries then you cant complain about who to vote for because you didnt go out and vote for the person you wanted on the ballot. Elections obviously matter as well because the winner is who you are stuck with.

  • while both are important, the primaries will get you to the next election, narrowing the choices, so i'd go with 'primaries'.
