  • we used blues clues, sesame street, baby Einstein and PBS shows.

  • We watch alot of the cartoons on PBS. Sid the science kid, super why, and I know it isnt a cartoon, but my DD loves sesame street.

  • Leap Frog DVDs are great, I used them in my prekinder classroom. PBS Kids is a free option too and lots of good educational programing there.

  • DD likes Little Einsteins and Super why - Oh and Curious George
    most the ones on PBS are pretty good
    she likes Dora, but I try to limit that one a bit, mickey mouse clubhouse is another fun one and somewhat educational. Also sometimes as long as it is fun and not a "bad example" (I think Caillou whines too much) then let them be kids and hav fun dancing and playing

  • nick jr shows and disney junior shows or pbs kids shows are all educational to some degree but dont sub tv for one on one learning time

  • My DD loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She's actually learned a lot. She's learning shapes and colors watching the show. She gets excited pointing out shapes to me.
