  • Get him to drink more water during the day. Staying hydrated helps things keep moving. Also more fiber.

  • Can he eat cereal yet? You can buy cereal that has a lot of fiber in shredded mini wheats(thats the only one I can think of at the moment but I know there are many more.)
    Definitley increase his water intake.
Try to get him to eat whole fresh prunes.
I used to make a mixture of prune juice and apple juice for my son. That worked really well.
If stuff like that doesnt help..I'd give dr a call..there could be other issues going on as to why his bowels arent moving.
    Good Luck! :)

  • Light Karo syrup will help, add one Tablespoon to whatever your baby drinks, my pediatrician suggested that and it worked!

  • Think.. B.R.A.T.s
    bananna, rice, apple sauce, toast,
all foods that can cause constipation.

prunes, apricots, peaches, help in digestion and constipation.
