So when does babies start to drink cow milk ?

  • My dr. likes them to wait until 12 mos. because he says that some babies have a bit more trouble digesting dairy, then most other foods. So that's around when I start mine on it.

  • Until around 1 year breast milk or formula should be the main source of nutrition. A sip here in there when they are getting close to that mark wouldn't hurt IMO.

  • At 1...of course my kids don't drink much at all. We use almond milk instead because it is MUCH healthier.

  • One is when we start switching over to milk. We also give our toddler soy and rice milk too. I just like mixing it up. I see nothing wrong with cows milk.
