Credit check

okay my mil lives in indiana. shes trying to move back to chicago. she applied for an apt. and got denied because she owed 150$ for a light bill so i re applied for her paid the bill off so the lady ran the credit check today how long does it usually take to get the results?

  • It can take a while. Especially if you didnt fax or send the paid notice to the 3 big credit reporting agency's.

  • i think anywhere from one to three months to be updated. but that's something just for a light bill. we don't deny for just that. we deny if she was ever evicted or of course a criminal record.

  • i talked to the lady and she said that was the only problem shes applying in a low income place so idk.
