What is the going rate for getting your hair dyed ONE solid color at a salon?

  • Depends on the length of your hair. I've had my hair professionally colored a few times and for pixie cuts to shoulder length it was in the $60-$80 range. Now a box of Miss Clariol is $7, less with a coupon

  • It depends, are you going from darker to light?

    Sometimes I have sales for like $35, but my normal range is $45 and up based on how much hair you have. Professional color costs about $5 to $8 a tube, sometimes more. So the cost of the color has to be covered.

  • it depends on the area/salon..and sometimes, the stylist.
    in my area, it could be anywhere from $40- $70.

  • mine is 60 all over but the first time i had to pay 160 because i had to strip it from dying from the box black!!!
