What's the difference between apes and monkeys? Is there any? And what are chimps then?

I guess the best place to post this is "pets".

  • Like everyone else said- monkeys have tails, apes don't. Chimps have no tails, hence chimps are considered apes.

  • There are 3 Great Apes, Gorilla's, Chimp's and Araungs. All others are monkeys.
