I know ya' haveheard this b4

I hate when a young lady says "I have been a nanny (or babysit for a number of years) and I am good with so parenting is easy" I just want to b***slapp them lol Like girl!!!!!!!! There is a reason they say parenting is a tough job. Also there is a reason parents love to drop kids off at the sitter lol There is a reason parents have to hire help....duh...cause it aint a freaking cake walk.

I just saw some ding dong head on youtube saying that. I am like girl you dno;t know the first thing when it comes to parenting (not that any of us really did at the begining) but it aint nothing like just being their babysitter or nanny.

  • I loved babysitting my bestfriends cousins. I thought to myself, I want to do this, I want to be a Mom. I thought I could do it, I thought I did a good job, I thought I could handle it.
Then I got pregnant, and he didnt stick around.
i had twins. I DID do a good job, a good job BABYSITTING.
young girls have no fricken clue. when I'm done wtih school I want to talk to young girls about this kind of a thing I want them to understand what it all means. i want to make sure they have some education about it all.

  • LOL of course it isn't because when their job is done, they get to LEAVE - a mom's work is never done. There are mouths to feed, a house to clean, errands to run, bills to pay, etc.

  • LOL, Totally agree, I used to babysit and let me tell you, parenting isn't easy. At least when I babysat I could leave without the child. I wouldn't trade my baby girl for nothing.

  • Agreed. I had NOOOOOO clue what kind of hard work parenting was until I actually had kids . . . and I babysat regularly from age 11 to 18.
