Kitchen decor

I live in a apt. So I can't paint..and yesterday refurnishd my whole apt. Now my kitchen looks bare..all I see r white walls one big window and the table (dining area) dos anyone have any ideas how I can decorate this area because I have no clue. (Ps this is my first time having bran new stuff..no hand me downs or anything :) )

  • You can accessorize with fun colors. My kitchen is all granite, marble, and stainless steel, so I added some red accents here and there.  You can do towels, a red coffee pot, a small plant planted in a bright colored bowl, etc.  This is one of my favorite new things: http://www.worldmarket.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=stacking%20mugs&origkw=stacking%20mugs&sr=1

  • if you want something big and bold on a large plain wall go to a place like Big Lots or just a garden center and look for those large thin metal wall plaques meant for outside, like a giant sun or abstract piece and put that on the wall. Big Lots has pretty ones for about $20
