For a family of three, how high would the income have to be for them to not get a full tax refund/have to start paying taxes?

DH asked me and I have no idea.

  • It depends on your deductions, credits, etc. You can look at the tax tables in the 1040 booklet

  • It's the booklet you get with your tax forms. Do you do your own taxes? You should have gotten one.

  • That ALL depends on your income, how much you paid in from your paychecks, your deductions, etc.

  • Well, a booklet comes with the 1040 forms. You can get it at the post office, any H&R block office, etc.

  • Ok, thanks. I need to go to the library tomorrow and I think someone said they usually have tax forms there, and I go to the post office daily so I'll look for them.
