Italian names

Just wondering what your favorite Italian boy and girl names are?

DH and I have one son named Carmine and are currently TTC #2....we would like to keep with Italian names (yes, our surname is Italian).

  • Carmen for either a girl or boy. Carmella for a girl. My hubby's is Leopoldo, his brother's is Ferdinand. Yea my in-laws are from Sicily . There is always Maria. Or Rosie.

  • I have a friend who's son is Giovanni and they call him Gino.
    Luca is a very popular boys name (in Northern Italy where I live it is anyways)

  • Here are the Italian names in my family...Rita, Emma, Caroline, Elizabeth, Analie, Mary, Angela, Julie/Julia.
    For boys: Luca, Marco, Vincenzo, Joseph (Guiseppe), Mario.

    I also know kids named...Giovanni, Matteo, John, Fernando, Anthony, Nico. Claudia, Claudio, Ana, Emilio, Emilia.
