  • You should be at least 13 before you take your baby outside...

[how did you get it home from the hospital?]

  • Your baby can always b outside. Just dress appropriately & shade. Bug net depending on climate.

  • From birth. Babies CAN be outside, you just have to be considerate of their temperature, clothing, shade, and if there are any bugs around.

It's 100% fine to have your baby out after birth. No reason not to!

  • Immediately after birth. The sun reacts with their skin to produce vitamin D which is essential for good health! Dress baby appropriately and watch to make sure he/she isn't getting too much sun.

  • As long as they're out of the uterus, it's fine unless your doc tells you otherwise (which would he for very few reasons).

  • Sunny outdoors is a great treatment for mild jaundice! Immediately after release from the hospital, since you kinda have to take 'em outside to get home, but as other moms have said, dress appropriately, shade, bug-blocker of some sort, etc. In cooler climates, shorter periods of time might be advised because your baby may have a harder time regulating body temp. • From dy one we take our kids outside! I have 5 and my 4 month ld wasa preemie, but we brought her on a walk the day after wehad her, it is good for their immunes systems!

  • They can be outside anytime, just be cautious as so many have stated above. Newborns can't regulate body temp well, so it's up to you to keep them warm enough. Also, just be aware that if you and Daddy have allergies, spring time pollen might affect baby too.

  • For centuries babies born in other cultures have been born outside.
