Anyone else allergic to sunscreen?

If so, have you found one that you CAN use without trouble? Please advise.

  • I'm allergic to sunscreen or other cosmetics that contain the common additive PABA. Do you know what ingredient is bothering you? If so, you can look for a product that doesn't contain that ingredient. I always have to check the list on the products to make sure they don't contain PABA.

  • Haven't quite been able to narrow down which ingredient is the culprit.

  • Is it possible that it's the PABA? My understanding is that quite a few people are irritated by PABA. Try a PABA-free sunscreen and see if that helps.
Another option is to go with an organic, all-natural sunscreen. You can find them online and they are quite pricey, but you might have better luck going that route.
