How would I give my 7 month old teething tablets?

Do I rub them on his gums or just stick them in his mouth? He gets really upset when I try to rub them on his gums so I'm not sure if I should be doing that. And if I dissolve them in water he spits it out.

  • I give them to my 3 month old because he is already teething. It says to put it under his tongue but he wont let me. So lately I've just dropped them on top of his tongue and he will smack his mouth around like he's chewing it...it's pretty cute actually. If his gums are already sore, it probably doesn't feel good rubbing that on them.
