  • Ohh yes. See, the thing that bothers me is that my mom treats me like a child sometimes, but other times she treats me like an adult and brags about how grown up I am. It's like she picks and chooses which aspects of my life to interfere upon.

    Annoying. Blah.

  • No, because I don't allow it. I am an adult and expect to be treated as one.

  • My husbands mother still treats him like he is in high school. (We have been together that long so I know how she treated him then!!) It has gotten so bad that I just can't even talk to her anymore. If I hadn't had her grandson I would seriously cut all ties with her completely. She is a f'n nutcase!!

  • Yes. I'm 30 years old and while we were preparing food at my mom's for Thanksgiving she kept saying things like, "Oh no, don't .. let me get that, you're gonna get burnt!"
    Ah, but she loves me..

  • Yeah,my dad still calls me little girl, and when I take him to the grocery store,he will make me take money, and tell me to get me a pop,and a candy bar.I am 41,but I would'nt change it for nothing.
