  • I wouldn't lend it. If I knew they really needed it I would give it to them if I had it. Lending just causes problems.

  • It would depend on who it is, and how much they want to borrow. If the person is trustworthy and would pay it back, and if I had what they needed, then yes I would.

  • If I had it to give and they needed it - yes.

  • It depends. My sisters are good for it . . . it doesn't matter how much, they would set up payment plan, put together a contract, and I would get paid on time. My brother . . . no way, man! He wore out his being able to ask for money long ago. He is irresponsible, and has very severe addiction issues . . . so I cannot offer help to him unless it is in the form of rehab.

  • only if I could afford to lose it.

  • Not unless it was really a gift and I didn't expect it back.

  • I have, and will. I've lent & borrowed, and it's never been an issue. You just have to know who you can & can't trust to pay you back.

  • Nope. NEVER EVER! Thats how all the problems start ya know.

Answer by vbruno at 11:55 AM on Apr. 1, 2011

  • It would depend on who, how much money they needed.

In my family it's common to borrow from each other. IN the end it's never really paid back but moved around. Like my sister will borrow from me and then I may need to borrow from her so it's even. Same with our mom. It's just us 3 that normally do it I wouldn't EVER give my older brother money if he needed something I would go out and get it if I could.
It may sound werid but it's how our family works and we've been doing it for years.
