Toddler bad breath

Has anyones toddler have this? My son is 2 and he has some rank morning breath lol we brush his teeth daily but I thought stinky breath didn't come til later...or am I wrong? Like could something be wrong...

  • my 4 year old has bad breath too, its even worse when hes sick. i just brush his teeth and that usually helps

  • We brush DS teeth 3 times a day with non florid tooth paste. If he has dairy to eat or after nap time he has really stinky breath.

  • Ah, don't forget tongue brushing too! Diet has more to do with it than anything.

  • water, water, water! stinky breath can be a sign of dehydration. Could be he needs a little more to drink with dinner? But not juice or milk before bed time that helped with my DD.

  • He drinks enough water, brushes tounge and teeth, drinks plenty of fluids and eats healthy...his breath doesn't smell like something serious just like regualr bad breath I just never heard anyone really talk about their kids bad breath(especially at this age) aftetr I brush his teeth and tounge it goes away but I am still like wow I didnt know stinky breath happen this young lol
