  • The more computer literate a kid is, the better. If he loves it I would allow it 1 or 2 hours a day as long as he is physically active and doing his homework.

  • They earn game time through the week by doing chores and having good behavior. Weekend is only time they can play video games.

  • Depends on the child. My 6 yr old has no patience for video games, so if and when she plays its short lived (unless Im playing a dance game or singing game with her). My 11 yr old though lol I have to drag him screaming and kicking from the PS3. He is good about it mostly. Id say maybe an hour on the weekends at a time? During the week not much at all.

  • My son only gets to play when all chores are done and his room is clean. I usually only let him play about 30 minutes or so. I also have to tear him away and if he argues about it then he gets no video game time for a week.

  • My son is 15. He has X-box live. He plays with a head set on and talks to his friends while he plays against them. He plays a few hours every day. He also plays hockey and tennis and is a good kid.

  • However long they want. My kids are not really into games and maybe play an hour a week. I try my hardest to keep them entertained a little bit but they won't go for it. They are 6 and 8. We have a Wii, XBOX, PS3, PSP, they each have a DS, they each have a computer. THEY WON"T USE THEM AND IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!

  • They are allowed to play when all other stuff is done. Sometimes 30 minutes a day, sometimes 2 hours a day it really all depends. They are also expected to spend some time outside playing whenever the weather allows.

  • My 4 1/2 year old has a leapster...he is only allowed to play it if we are in the car for a long period of time or if he has earned it, and only for a half an hour. and a leapster is edicational. LOL i think kids these days need to do more constructive things with themselves.
