Pregnancy test accuracy??

Since stopping breastfeeding 5 months ago my periods have been a little out of wack. Last month i had a 29 day cycle, so i figure i was supposed to start today. I think i possibly ovulated either last tuesday or wednesday. I took a test today and DID NOT use first morning urine. It came back negative. Would after only 9- 10 day past ovulation would it be highly likely to get a positve if you were pregnant, without using first morning urine?? Just curious?

  • It would probably be quiet UNlikely. You may know, but TH hormone doesnt start being made until implantation, which happens 7-10 days after ovulation, so a woman can be pregnant at this point and have no traces of the hormone yet.

Also the test itself matters as well. Some are more sensitive than others.
