What are some activities you do for mother-daughter time?

Lately I have wanted to spend some special time with my daughter. We are always so busy with work, school, sports and other family activities. Some things we do together are get an early Saturday morning coffee (she prefers an Italian Soda) , go to garage sales, look at consignment shops....

Would love more suggestions.

  • How about lunch, a work-out together, a jog, movies, shopping, volunteering at a food bank or homeless shelter, a hike, museums, etc

  • Ewww, volunteer! Love that suggestion ....

I was going to suggest asking her what she wants to do. Ask her to do some research. Bones up her research / computer skills and gives her the control. Not bad on either front ....

  • Do something you both don't like. It can be really fun.
Like, if you two don't like slimy things, go fishing or digging for worms. If you two don't like beer, try some. Sometimes going and doing something you both don't like can end up making a lot of memories you would have never experienced before.
Just make sure you get someone to take lots of pictures.
