Has anyone had a very premature baby??? PLEASE ANSWER

I am a high risk for premature labour, I am on bed rest at 22 weeks pregnant. I am very scared because my doctor didn't give us much hope if our baby is born before 24 weeks. I am scared for my baby and would love to hear some success stories!

  • i was told placenta previa at 15 weeks, told very little chance of complete full pregnancy
each time i went in, nurse would say "have you bleed yet?"
i would say, no and i am not going to
i did not bleed after the early heavy ones
had to have her 1 month early c section, could not get close to labor
she was totally healthy - one month early

i was given little chance at 15 weeks, proved them all wrong
    hope it helps

great health to you and your baby!

  • At 24 weeks it is about 50/50 chance but each week after that it goes up..... I would listen to the bed rest orders and try to at least get to 30. My Husband was born at 26 weeks, 28 years ago and is perfectly healthy! Just hang in there and count your blessings as each week passes! Doctors are not God...
