Why do people still act like we're in high school?

It just amazes me how many women talk smack about their friends behind their backs, even into their 30s (and beyond, I imagine). Just an observation. If only I still had my figure from when I was 16. I could do without the drama. Sigh. Sorry, short vent/musing.

  • It's everywhere you go, no matter where you look. The PTA, the workplace, the neighbors, in your family, and yes, among your friends. I don't get it either.

  • I know what you mean. It's like come on. How long do you have to act like a child? I try to stay away from them the best I can. I can't deal with silly school girl drama. I have better thing to worry about. Just take a deep breath. It will pass.

  • I can TOTALLY relate! It happens at my office EVERY DAY. These women range from their 30's to their 60's. High school BS all the way. Whispering, smiling to your face and talking smack behind your back. Butt kissers, fakes, etc. GROW UP!

I am with you 100%. I get so angry, but then I just pity them. They must be insecure and have unfulfilled, shallow lives.
