Do you think the princess thing is over rated?

Princesses everywhere. What do you think about it being what all girls want to be now a days?

  • I love it for my little girls, yes once they reach a certain age it will have to stop because as mentioned, no one likes an 18 year-old princess. But as adults, most of us can look back and enjoy the past time which is why we have balls and dress like a princess or wear a crown at our wedding..

  • As long as it fades away by 6 or so,its not an issue. When they still have the mindset as they get older, then its an issue

  • My girls are princesses who do boy stuff. They may get dresses up and put on fancy shoes and dance around, but they will get out and get muddy and grimy. I love it!!!

  • Having a 5 year old daughter who loves the Disney Princesses, I find it absolutely adorable. I don't think it's a "nowadays" thing. There's a reason Disney has made millions and millions for 50+ years on the princesses...

  • oh heck... I am 43 and when i was a little girl kids wanted to be princess too.

But not all the girls feel for that stuff... I was/am a tom boy... and so were many of my firends.

  • My DD loves the princesses. We just finished watching TANGLED. I actually find it sad that Disney doesn't plan anymore princess movies, for I find them adorable.
