Sinus congestion

What else can I try at home? If it isn't better tomorrow there is an urgent care clinic close by that will be open tomorrow, but...

I have tried neti pot
Sudafed PE
Sudafed with Advil
Ice packs
Blowing my nose
steroid-type Nasal spray

Is there anything else I can try? If I do go to the doc, what might he prescribe? Anyone had experiences with this recently?

  • He may give you Rhinocort or something. Try Benadryl Allergy, drink tons of fluids and maybe Muconex would help but not too sure. it sounds like you've tried what's best. These things have to run their course. He may give you a Z-pack if it's bad.

  • Drink plenty of clear fluids, go to a place like Vitamin World and ask them about a pepper nose spray. Have you tried saline nasal spray? Stay away from milk products

  • I have tried a saline nasal spray as well as several herbal remedies including a homeopathic medicine for sinus congestion. I guess I should just call the doctor in the morning. *SIGH*

  • Massage the nasal passages by taking your finger by dragging them down.
