  • FYI, I say hormones bc I wanted another right after I had my first. I wanted another so my first would have someone close in age to play with.

  • Oh jeez, not me.... I got an IUD because one is enough at the moment..... but some women want to have kids back to back. I see no problem with that as long as they can care for their children.

  • "baby fever" is common for some women during childbearing years.

  • Hormones, baby fever, a desire to have their children grow up together being close in age, feeling pressured from family and/or friends, feeling overjoyed from their first and wanting another, to fulfill a dream, etc. There are probably hundreds of reasons.

  • How about the propagation of the species. Humans are hard wired to procreate, our bodies tell us to have more kids.

Apparently your body is telling you to be a judgmental jerk.

  • 2 years...are you kidding me?

My doctor and MANY health groups recommend waiting 18 months between pregnancies. I waited twenty months both times. IT was the perfect time period for us.

We were NOT desperate but we were READY to grow OUR family. Everyone is different and quite frankly this question WAS rude...and intrusive...EXTREMELY RUDE.

Bottom line...it is really non of your business why a family choses to grow their family when they chose to do so...

    Wow...what a terrible question!

Does that even matter? Are you even supposed to let your body heal?
