  • I sometimes make corn chowder,all you need is potaotes,corn,and if you wanted you can make cream corn just put into a food processor. I also like to add chicken,or you could add hamburger,onions and then add cream or regular milk. salt and pepper and some green onions for garnish

  • spaghetti, meatloaf-though that isn't too cheap since it requires a good amount of meat...hamburger helper- You can use less than it calls for and add frozen veggies to it (depending on the flavor), my mom used to make (what she called) spanish rice with rice, hamburger and tomao sauce...

  • Shepherd's pie, chilli, meatloaf, tacos.
    Oh and I know this will be construed as bitchy, but why would you buy your meat from Walmart? I'd check out local butchers. I can sometimes get ground beef from a local meat producer for $2.79 per pound. I know where it comes from, I know what the cattle was fed, I know there were no hormones or antibiotics pumped into the cow and I know when they ground it.
