How many tests did you take to confirm a pregnancy?

I have taken 3 still negative, but I have heard some people take like 5 before it is confirmed. Anyone had to take that much??

  • I never took more than one.

  • I took one, both times. And that one was just for confirmation, as I was charting and knew when I had ovulated and that I was beyond my normal luteal phase, so the test was just a formality.

  • 1 test with each pregnancy, before my period was even due. Correct every time, at barely 2 weeks from actual conception. Never had a need to test more than once.

  • its not the number of tests you take its your timing if you are not even late yet then its not going to show positive yet usually so if you want to try and find out early as possible take the test with your first morning urine its more concentrated.
