If I take a Tylenol pm to help me sleep...

will it also make the beautiful baby girl in my belly sleep as well?

  • I would ask your doctor if it is safe because whatever you take for you comes down and gets to baby too.. might not be safe or the dose might need to change.

  • Oh, the doc told me to take two Tylenol pm before bedtime because I have a terrible head.... I just didn't think of this question until now...

  • yeah i took tylenol pm every night of my last trimester. it was a life saver. it wil help you sleep...or you could take benadryl. that will make you drowsy as well

  • Acetominophen builds up in your liver; this is a very bad idea.

    Instead, have a cup of chamomile tea

  • Please don't take benadryl while pregnant. My Dr. wrote a script of it for me and then I looked up the side effects...not good. Tylenal PM works well and should not have a bad effect on baby.
